Choosing a suit for your wedding can actually be a daunting task. The decision of what you will wear dictates what your groomsmen will wear, what all the men in the close family will wear and possibly the dress code for all the male guests. For example, if you elect to go with a dinner jacket (tuxedo), this automatically sets the bar higher for all the men than if you had chosen to get married wearing a suit.
Style aside, the next most important thing is making sure that you stand out and look the part. It should be obvious, even to the casual guest, that you are the groom. A lot of that has to do with the fit: if your suit looks too baggy or not in proportion to your body shape, your fiancé will not be the only one who notices.
We try and guide you through the process as to what would be the most suitable attire as well as practical advice, such as to the future use of your wedding suit. We would recommend that you make an appointment no later than 10 weeks before the big day - we have fitted grooms in four weeks, but to make the process as stress free as possible, the more time the merrier.
The most important thing is to have your bride-to-be attend, at the minimum, the initial consultation so that both of you can agree on fabric, style as well as any personalizations that are only possible when you have a bespoke suit made.
