What is Bespoke Tailoring?

Bespoke tailoring is the pinnacle of comfort, fashion, function and handcraftmanship. While most fashion houses attempt to balance luxury and ready to wear, one individual's designs are committed solely on the former.

Bespoke is actually a term which dates from the 17th century, when tailors held the full lengths of cloth in
their premises. When a customer chose a length of material it was said to have "been spoken for", hence a tailor who makes your clothes individually to your specific personal requirements, is called bespoke. Unlike "made to measure" which simply uses a basic pattern which is then adjusted to your measurements.

Prices start from £590 for a bespoke 2 piece suit and £69 for a bespoke shirt.
This results in somewhat of a welcome paradox that Raj and his exclusive
clientele have come to embrace; quality that rivals likes of Kiton and
Brioni with the price that would make both fashion houses' gasp.

Working with the world’s finest fabrics, Raj Mirpuri offers a staggering
collection of 10,000 fabrics to chose from. To ease the agony
that accompanies such a large choice, Raj Mirpuri designs a
seasonal collection that fuses classic style and soft tailoring
with edgier design.
